The Tulip Festival in Ottawa is a beautiful annual event that attracts a plethora of people during the last days of spring. On this occasion, I decided to try a new color film for 35mm from the good folks at Flic Film.
And that film is Elektra 100.
Initially, I thought of bringing Kodak Ektar 100, but when I was looking at the film rack while shopping at Studio Argentique in Montreal, my intuition told me to give Elektra a shot.
And I'm glad that I did so. The colors and classical look of the photos make me want to shoot this film again in a different environments.
These photos were shot on a Leica M3 with a 50mm VC Nokton, and developed using Flic Film's C41 color chemistry kit.
